Meet Dr. Adam Volker
Dr. Adam Volker is the founder of Centric ABA and holds certifications as both a Board Certified Behavior Analyst and a Licensed Behavior Analyst in Nevada.
Dr. Volker has more than a decade of experience in the healthcare industry and founded Centric ABA on a simple belief: putting each client and their family at the forefront and believing that going above and beyond for others isn’t just good practice — it’s a responsibility. This is reflected daily in the Centric approach..
As an educator and behavior analyst, Dr. Volker advocates for ABA therapy as a cooperative approach that emphasizes the unique needs, values, preferences, and cultural backgrounds of individuals and families. Dr. Volker is deeply passionate about this method of care, having extensively researched and studied it as a central component of his dissertation while obtaining his doctorate degree. Driven by his enduring passion for ABA and helping others, Dr. Volker is dedicated to ensuring that each client and their family receive the utmost quality of care at Centric ABA.
He began his career in healthcare administration with prominent organizations, where he assumed multiple leadership roles. After spending years on the business side of healthcare, Dr. Volker shifted his focus to becoming a Board Certified Behavior Analyst, working with several ABA companies and two universities, including Touro University Nevada and the University of Nevada, Reno. Additionally, Dr. Volker has served as the clinical director of an ABA clinic, and he is presently an associate professor at Capella University. There, he has instructed courses on leadership and consultation in applied behavior analysis and is currently teaching the fundamentals of the experimental analysis of behavior.
When not delivering ABA care, Dr. Volker loves spending all his quality time with his wife Bailey, their two kids, and four dogs. Dr. Volker especially enjoys spending time outside and taking trips with Bailey and the children, often choosing the beach or theme parks as their favorite destinations.
